Ideal candidates should have: • An excellent academic and CCA track record (from Junior College or Polytechnic with Merit) • A burning passion for the tourism industry • A strong desire to contribute to Singapore’s tourism growth Returning scholars from both STB-FIREfly Scholarship and STB Mid-Term Scholarship will go through an intensive 12-month structured programme, which commences with a 3-month attachment to the Singapore Visitors Centres, followed by deployments to two different divisions. STB-FIREfly Scholarship STB offers the STB-FIREfly Scholarship under the FIREfly Scholarship Scheme, a strategic HR alliance under the MTI Statutory Boards. Other then awarding scholarships for both overseas and local universities, we are especially in search of those who are keen to study in China, India, France, Germany and Japan. The Scholarship for both overseas and local universities will cover tuition and other related fees throughout your study programme including monthly living allowances and accommodation (where applicable). STB Mid-Term Scholarship The STB’s Mid-Term Scholarship recognises potentially good talents even before their graduation, during their course of university education. The selected scholars will be sponsored for the remaining of their course of study (for the last 1 or 2 years), bonded one year for every year sponsored. The scholarship covers tuition and other related fees throughout your study programme including monthly living allowances and accommodation (where applicable).
